The Roman Catholic Diocese of Colon-Kuna Yala (erected 15 December 1988 as the Diocese of Colon, renamed 13 June 1997) is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Panama.
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Panama (erected 28 August 1513 as the Diocese of Santa Maria de La Antigua del Darien) is a Metropolitan Archdiocese, responsible for the dioceses of Chitre, Colon-Kuna Yala, David, Penonome and Santiago de Veraguas, as well as the Territorial Prelature of Bocas del Toro.
The see was renamed as the Diocese of Panama on 7 December 1520 and elevated to an archdiocese on 29 November 1925.
The current Metropolitan Archbishop of Panama is Archbishop Jose Domingo Ulloa Mendieta, O.S.A.
